Remote Content Manager ( contract )

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and creative Content Manager to join our remote team. The Content Manager will be responsible for managing the content development process for our international clients, ensuring that content is engaging, on-brand, and meets business goals. The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of experience managing content for websites, blogs, and social media, as well as a deep understanding of WordPress. The candidate should also have experience with hiring and interviewing writers, creating content calendars, and collaborating with designers and developers.

This is a contract position on a freelance basis. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute content strategies for multiple clients, ensuring that all content aligns with business goals and is on-brand
• Hire and interview writers, manage their workloads, and ensure the quality of the content they produce
• Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content
• Work collaboratively with designers and developers to improve the visual and functional aspects of content
• Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends and best practices
• Conduct research and data analysis to inform content development and optimization
• Track and report on content performance, using data to inform future content strategies
• Lead and mentor other team members

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in content management, content strategy, or a related field
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and high-quality content
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and how they impact content development
• Experience with WordPress and other content management systems
• Ability to plan and manage complex content calendars and workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure high-quality content delivery
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor other team members
• A strong eye for design and a passion for creating visually appealing content
